20:50: A unit is telling Chief 22 there is 1 vehicle in the median at the 92.6 mile marker. Engine 22 en route.
20:52: Rescue 24 on scene with 2 vehicles, 1 in the median, 1 into the guardrail. Chief 22 is staging back at the 93 MM for early warning until he can be replaced.
20:53: 62-4 on scene.
20:55: Engine 22-3 is approaching, instructed to stop short for early warning replacing Chief 22.
20:56: Brush 24 is approaching, now instructed to replace Engine 22-3 as early warning for this incident; PSP is now reporting there is a 2nd MVA south of the 91.4 mile marker. Engine 22-3 and Chief 22 are going to investigate the 2nd incident.
20:58: Squad 22-2 is en route to the 1st incident to provide early warning as far back as the 93.2 mile marker. Brush 24 was put back in service.
21:00: Chief 22 is stating they have not been able to locate a second crash at this time. I-79 Command is conferring with PSP.
21:08: 62-4 is transporting 1 patient to UPMC Cranberry.
21:57: I-79 Command checking with Engine 22 if they are in a good position to shut down the interstate. They stated they are, and will let Command know when it is closed.
21:59: Engine 22 states both lanes of the interstate are shut down now.
22:05: Engine 22 instructed to reopen the roadway and clear the scene.
22:06: I-79 Command terminated, all units back in service.
