Male stuck under truck, 164 Wick Road

18:42: Stations 33 and 52 alerted. No other details at dispatch.

Slippery Rock Fire and EMS alerted for a male pinned under a truck.

18:43: Chief 33 en route. Dispatch now stating this is a tri-axle, and the patient is possibly stuck under the tire. Chief 33 requests additional units.

Control now advising this is a tri-axle truck and the male is reportedly pinned under its tire.

18:44: 52-2 en route. Station 14 alerted.

18:45: Air medical requested on standby by 52-2. Chief 14 en route to the station.

18:46: Control advising Chief 33 they spoke with the patient himself now; he is no longer stuck under the vehicle, and there are no injuries. Stations 14 and 85 are to return in service per Chief 33, the others will continue in. 52-2 states air medical can stand down.

The patient advised he was no longer pinned and there are no injuries.

18:47: Chief 33 on scene.

18:49: 52-2 on scene.

18:50: Unidentified unit (audio clipped by another unit) now stating to put a helicopter in the air, LZ will be at this address unless updated.

A unit on scene is now requesting air medical to the address.

18:53: Chief 33 advising Control the correct address is 164 Wick Road (previously reported as 144 Wick) and Lieutenant 33 will be the ground contact. A Stat MedEvac helicopter is airborne from Kittanning and headed northwest in the direction of this incident. Control has not confirmed a helicopter at this time, however.

18:55: Control notifying Command Stat 16 is en route, no ETA was given.

18:58: Stat is now passing over the area of Chicora Medical Center, this is the helicopter responding to this incident. After taking off from their base at ACMH Kittanning around 18:35, they travelled to the Butler Hospital but turned around and returned to Kittanning without landing. They were airborne and almost back to base when this call went out.

19:01: Stat contacting the LZ for a brief, stating 4 minute ETA.

19:04: LZ states they have visual on the helicopter.

19:06: Stat is on the ground at the LZ.

19:20: No further updates from this incident. The helicopter is still on the ground on Wick Road.

19:22: Chief 33 reporting the helicopter is airborne, destination AGH, all Station 33 units are back in service.

19:30: 52-2 cleared the scene.

19:45: Stat MedEvac is arriving on the helipad at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
