15:21: Stations 22 and 62 to respond to the 89 Mile Marker on I-79 Southbound for a tour bus on fire, under the axle. This would be just North of the Little Creek Road bridge / Exit 88.
15:26: Engine 22-4 en route.
15:29: 62-2 is on scene with a fully involved tour bus.
15:30: 62-2 reporting this is approximately a 50 passenger bus, no entrapment / everyone is out.
15:32: Stations 24 and 21 added to the call.
15:33: Station 13 toned out for their Tanker. Tanker 24 is en route.
15:34: Engine 22-4 on scene with command confirming the fire is fully involved.
15:35: Chief 13 acknowledging the call; Chief 22 on scene taking Command. Squad 21 en route.
15:38: Engine 21-2 en route.
15:39: Engine 22-3 on scene. Tanker 13 en route.
15:41: Rescue 21 en route. Tanker 24-2 on scene.
15:42: Fire is knocked down. I-79 Southbound from Portersville is closed. Command requests PSP be notified FD will position to move vehicles off the roadway, “we’re going to be here awhile.”

16:06: Per Command all Station 21 units are back in service from this incident.
16:28: Tanker 13 back in service.
16:30: Tanker 24-2 is clear of this incident.
16:36: Engine 22-4 back in service.
16:37: Traffic control units were asked to try to open both lanes and let the backlog flow some while the burnt bus is being hooked up. The backlog is reportedly miles long.
16:43: Control informing Command PSP will be moving the bus and diverting traffic at Portersville onto 19.
16:45: Portersville Station 24 alerted for additional traffic control.
16:46: Station 24 acknowledging the call; the Rescue will be en route shortly.
16:49: Rescue 24 en route.
16:56: Rescue 24 reporting I-79 Southbound is fully shutdown at the Portersville Exit as of now.
17:39: Rescue 24 was instructed to open it up.
17:40: I-79 reopened, all station 24 units clear.
17:49: WTAE’s SKY4 helicopter appears to be arriving overhead.
