09:17: Oneida Valley Station 35 dispatched to the area of 451 Chicora Rd, truck pulled wires down onto roadway.
09:23: Station 35 acknowledging.
09:35: Control notifying Chief 35 that PSP is on scene, reporting a pole damaged and/or wires down near 427 Chicora Road, also; there are so many wires, traffic control is definitely needed. Advising some of the wires are Armstrong communications wires.
09:36: PSP is requesting westbound traffic be redirected onto Davis Road, eastbound traffic be redirected onto Bonniebrook Road.
09:41: Power company gave ETA of within an hour. Armstrong Cable was also notified.
09:45: Rescue 35 is at Davis Road. 68 / Chicora Road is now shut down at Bonniebrook.
10:01: Traffic control units state they’re sending a pickup through now that is a representative from the company that owns the truck that pulled the lines down.
10:14: Armstrong Cable is arriving on scene now.
10:18: A representative from the natural gas company is on scene.
11:05: Traffic is still being detoured as cleanup continues. Command notifying Bonniebrook Road intersection some work trucks are coming out soon; they will have to open the road temporarily and close it again once the trucks clear.
11:12: Command notifying Bonniebrook Road the trucks are still coming, taking awhile as they have to move a wire for each step of the way out.
11:16: Traffic Control notifying Command a small car just blew past them, stating the driver almost struck both of the traffic controllers.
11:19: The reckless driver apparently turned into a driveway as they never passed Command up the road. Command states fire units will be on scene until PennDOT arrives to relieve them.
12:16: PennDOT has the road closed on both ends now, all fire units are back in service.
