17:43: Heavy smoke from the kitchen confirmed by PD on scene. Rescue 1 reporting a “slight haze from the Alpha side.” 2-story duplex.
17:46: Engine 38 approaching, instructed to stage at the hydrant at Monroe and McClain. Engine 1 approaching also.
17:47: Station 3 acknowledging with 1 man on station. Ladder 3 en route. Tower 1 instructing Station 3 to standby.
17:48: Tower 1 also instructing Engine 38 to proceed in non-emergency.
17:50: Butler Ambulance unit is requested to continue into the scene; the resident will need evaluated per city units. Ventilation is in progress now.
17:52: Butler Township Station 3 units were cancelled by Tower 1. Engine 38 also cleared.
