15:41: Saxonburg Fire Department Station 15 and Saxonburg Ambulance Station 45 alerted.
15:50: 45-2 on scene confirming single vehicle head-on into a tree, male still inside but no entrapment.
15:51: 45-2 requesting a helicopter on standby.
15:53: 45-2 informing Station 15 units they will need extrication. Possible loss of consciousness and femur fracture. Engine 15-2, Squad 15-2 en route.
15:55: LifeFlight 4 is on standby with a 9 minute ETA to Penn United. 45-2 requests the helicopter in the air. Engine 15-2 will divert to setup the landing zone.
15:58: Rescue 15 on location.
16:01: Fire Police Captain 15 instructed by Command to shut the road down.
16:03: Engine 15-2 on location to establish the LZ. LifeFlight 4 is spotted in the air from Butler Airport.
16:05: Command reporting to Control to mark extrication complete at this time. 45-3 now on scene.
16:10: LifeFlight 4 is on the ground. The ambulance has not left the scene yet.
16:11: Fire Police are stating the ambulance is on its way out now.

16:23: Fire Police report the tow truck is arriving.
16:26: Fire Police were instructed by Command to keep the road shut down completely now until the tow truck clears.

16:31: LifeFlight 4 in the air to Allegheny General Hospital.
16:32: 45-2 reports clear of the LZ, out of service until further notice.
16:42: 45-3 reports back in service.
16:44: LifeFlight 4 is on the helipad at AGH.
16:59: Command terminated, Station 15 units are back in service. 45-2 also reports back in service.
17:00: Fire Police are still directing traffic.
17:02: Fire Police are waiting for the flatbed and PSP to clear the scene still.
